Cincinnati Marriott at RiverCenter Tops US in Event Satisfaction Survey

Covington/December 22, 2003—The Cincinnati Marriott at RiverCenter has received two significant industry honors.  The hotel was recently ranked number 1 in the country for all Marriott hotels in Event Satisfaction.

Marriott nationally conducts a survey known as an Event Satisfaction Survey or ESS.  ESS is sent out to every meeting planner holding an event at the hotel.  Facilities are scored on categories such as:

The Cincinnati Marriott at RiverCenter has also received the American Automobile Association (AAA) four-diamond award for the 5th consecutive year, meaning it has garnered the honor every year since the hotel’s opening in 1999.  AAA define four-diamond properties as:

Gordon L. Snyder, Vice-President of Commonwealth Hotels, Cincinnati Marriott RiverCenter’s management company, commented on the significance of the achievements.

“More than 200 properties were surveyed in the ESS.  The hotel is very honored to receive this award and takes great pride in the service it provides to guests.  Cincinnati Marriott at RiverCenter is known as the ‘Marriott that Amazes’ and its staff has a “whatever it takes’ attitude when it comes to guest satisfaction.” Commonwealth Hotels manages 16 hotels nationwide, including hotels in Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, Louisville, Tampa, Denver and Chicago.  Hotel brands include Marriott, Hilton, Embassy Suites, Courtyard, Residence Inn and Hampton Inn.
