OFFICE EXPO BENEFITS LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESSES
Covington, KY/September 13, 2006—The United Stationers 2006 Grand Slam Office Expo gives companies, ranging from “mom and pops” to corporations, the tools needed to keep their businesses running strong.
The Expo, scheduled for Thursday, September 21st and Friday, September 22nd at the Cincinnati Marriott RiverCenter, Covington, provides sales training seminars from noon to five p.m. on the 21st. Vendors represented for the training seminars will be: Hewlett Packard, United Stationers Supply Company addressing Universal Brands, Marketing Programs & United Training and JanSan, United Stationers janitorial supply company.
Pauletta Tranbarger, spokesperson for United Stationers’ Indianapolis office says Friday’s Office Expo from eight a.m. to noon allows businesses direct contact with suppliers. “Our clients can see new products and supplies which in the long run can save them money and improve productivity. They also have the chance to talk one-on-one with vendors talking about new product features. If they are having problems with existing equipment, they can talk to manufacturers about how to resolve service issues.”
United Stationers, based in Deerfield, Illinois, is a distribution wholesaler for local business, with local offices in Indianapolis and Columbus. A Thursday evening dinner cruise will also be offered with entertainment by “The Grateful Dads.” Pre-registration is mandatory by calling 800-525-3449.
