CELEBRITY LOOK-A-LIKE HAIR STYLIST HIGHLIGHTS FALL EXPO 06 SHOW
Covington, KY/October 24, 2006—Hair stylist Jeffrey Altenburg highlights this year’s lineup for the S&S Beauty Supplies Fall Expo 06, to be held Sunday and Monday, November 5 and 6 at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center.
Altenburg is one of the stars of Look-A-Like, the hot celebrity makeover series on the TV Guide Channel. The show allows stylists to turn ordinary people into celebrity doubles including Eva Langoia, Nicole Kidman and Jon Bon Jovi. Altenburg, who will host several workshops Sunday 9-11, 12:30 - 2:30 & 3 - 5 p.m., has over 20 years experience as one of Canada’s top hair fashion icons. While a contractor for Florence-based national hair care manufacturer Tressa, Altenburg owns his own salon Shampoo Planet.
Show attendees will also learn techniques related to coloring, cutting, perms, treating fine and thinning hair and business practice success.
The mission of the Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau is that of an aggressive sales, marketing, service and informational organization whose primary responsibility is to positively impact the Northern Kentucky economy through conventions, meetings and visitor expenditures. The direct economic impact of visitors’ spending in Campbell, Kenton and Boone Counties in 2005 was $255 million.
