KTY BCI BASKETBALL FALL 2006 TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
Florence, KY/October 4, 2006—Kentucky Basketball Championship Invitation (BCI) has announced its fall slate of tournaments. All tournaments will be held at the Sports of All Sorts complex, 25 Cavalier Boulevard, Florence. All events are national invitational qualifiers. The entry fee per team is $175 for each tournament
The schedule is as follows:
· Kentucky BCI Girls Middle School Classic, October 13-15, for 6th-8th grade girls; entry deadline October 6;
· Kentucky BCI Boys/Girls Veterans Memorial, November 10-12 for 6th-8th grade boys’ teams and girls’ teams and all-star division 8/u-14/u boys and girls; deadline November 3rd;
· Kentucky BCI Boys/Girls Thanksgiving Invitational, November 24-26, for 6th-8th grade boys’ teams and girls’ teams and all-star division 8/u-14/u boys and girls; deadline November 17th;
· Kentucky BCI Boys/Girls Middle School Tip-Off Classic, December 1-3 for 6th-8th grade boys’ teams and girls’ teams and 8/u-14/u boys and girls; deadline November 24th;
· Kentucky BCI Boys/Girls Holiday Classic, December 15-17 for All-Star Division 8/u-14/u; deadline December 9th;
· Kentucky BCI Boys/Girls Hoopfest, December 29-31 for 6-8th grade boys’ and girls’ teams; entry deadline December 22.

Kentucky BCI was founded in 2002 with the idea of creating a realistic competitive program for young basketball players in Kentucky to have the opportunity to showcase their basketball skills in a state-wide championship type of environment. The program is dedicated to providing, no matter what race, sex or financial ability, the opportunity to become better citizens through the median of basketball.
The mission of the Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau is that of an aggressive sales, marketing, service and informational organization whose primary responsibility is to positively impact the Northern Kentucky economy through conventions, meetings and visitor expenditures. The direct economic impact of visitors’ spending in Campbell, Kenton and Boone Counties in 2005 was $255 million.
