Fort Mitchell, KY/September 16, 2009—Nearly 500 attendees are expected for the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary (DAVA) annual National Fall Conference September 24 – 26, 2009, at the Drawbridge Inn.
The conference is an educational event featuring presentations by national chairmen, recently elected and/or appointed at the organization’s national convention in Denver. They will present on such topics as Americanism, community service, legislation and membership.
Speakers from the Disabled American Veterans will also attend and discuss topics of interest to disabled veterans and their families. Traditionally, the DAV Auxiliary National Fall Conference is an open forum providing ample opportunity for questions, answers, and comradeship.
The organization just launched a strategic planning process that has sparked a renewal of interest designed to provide new direction and growth to ultimately better assist those disabled during service to their country while offering continued support to their families.
The mission of the Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau is that of an aggressive sales, marketing, service and informational organization whose primary responsibility is to positively impact the Northern Kentucky economy through conventions, meetings and visitor expenditures. The direct economic impact of visitors” spending in Campbell, Kenton and Boone Counties in 2007 was $325 million.
