KY School Nutrition Association to meet in Northern Kentucky June 28-30

700 nutrition professionals from schools districts throughout KY to hold annual conference at Northern Kentucky Convention Center

Covington, KY/June 22, 2010 – Approximately 700 school nutrition professionals from school districts throughout Kentucky will gather at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center June 28-30 for the 54th Annual State Conference of the Kentucky School Nutrition Association (KSNA). Estimated economic impact of the conference on the Northern Kentucky community is $308,000.

About the Kentucky School Nutrition Association

The mission of KSNA is to be a cohesive group of professionals dedicated to serving quality, nutritious meals as an integral means of helping Kentucky students reach proficiency. KSNA has approximately 1,500 members who are directors of food service, cafeteria managers and school nutrition/food service employees who work at school districts from across the Commonwealth of Kentucky, as well as other professionals who are involved in school nutrition.
