Cincinnati Shakespeare Company -- The Life and Death of King John
January 14, 2011 - January 30, 2011

Shakespeare's classic historical tale picks up where The Lion in Winter leaves off. King Henry II has died, bequeathing his crown to The Black Prince, John. But John's kingdom is not a happy one. Everyone is trying to manipulate him; from his powerful mother to the King of France to his own court.  Will King John be able to restore England to her once-enviable glory, or will the pressures of running a kingdom contribute to his own downfall?
